Markus Spöhrer, Ph.D., works as a research associate and media scholar at the International Center for Ethics in the Sciences and Humanities at the University of Tübingen (Germany). His research and teaching interests focus on Disability Studies and digital media, with particular emphasis on the history of game accessibility, the representation of neurodiversity in games, and enabling gaming practices and interfaces. Together with Beate Ochsner (University of Konstanz), he published the book Disability and Video Games: Practices of En-/Disabling Modes of Digital Gaming (2023, Palgrave Macmillan)
