Michael Luckett served in the U.S. ARMY and is a life-long gamer. During his deployment to Iraq 2010-2011, 1LT Luckett served as the FSC XO for 1/8th Infantry Battalion, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division. After a safe deployment and a PCS to Ft. Lee, 1LT Luckett suffered a spinal cord injury from a motorcycle accident August 7, 2011. He retired as captain in 2013. His passion for gaming never ceased after injury. His new mission to regain his independence was to reacquire his competitive edge. After countless trials, Mike‘s journey led him to Ken Jones of Warfighter Engaged reinvigorating his desire to game again. Today you can find him live streaming on Twitch advocating for accessible and inclusive gaming. When he’s not gaming, you can find him training for wheelchair rugby or just hanging out with his service dog Pixie.
