Ashley is a User Researcher at Ubisoft, currently working as the Lead Moderator for Assassin’s Creed in Montreal. As a relative newcomer to the industry, Ashley has an affinity for inclusive product and service design. Her foray into game accessibility was running user tests for players with disabilities on Far Cry 6. She has also given several introductory lectures to students on UX design and accessibility research.
Ashley draws from personal experiences with mental illness and race to destigmatize mental health and exercise a human-centered approach in her work. Though her background is in fashion design, Ashley takes inspiration from the parallels between the fashion and video game industries—both on the design and social fronts—to be a better researcher and ally.
